We’re two brothers, Eifion and Geraint, farming in partnership with our parents, and with the support of our wives. We’re the 6th generation of the Jenkins family to farm at Cerrigcaranau, Talybont, between Aberystwyth and Machynlleth.
Our great, great, great grand-parents moved to Cerrigcaranau in 1875, they were the first of a long line of Jenkins’ to farm here. (The farm had been farmed by our great, great, great grandmother’s family for some time before that, too.)
Five generations have followed in their footsteps, each taking the responsibility of being custodians of the land, transferring their knowledge and experience, from one generation to another.
Our forefathers supplied produce directly to local villages, and now, we’re back, along with the 7th generation, doing the same. Suppling local, organic, nutritious milk to the residents of Aberystwyth and Machynlleth.
